This is a great event to encourage children to achieve potential /and celebrate achievement.

THE RETURN OF AYE WRITE! GLASGOW’S BOOK FESTIVAL
Glasgow’s biggest and brightest book festival, Aye Write! returns to the Mitchell Library from 5 – 13 March 2010 bringing yet another stellar line-up of writers, poets and commentators. The festival, which is in its fifth year, has loads of local talent as well as an impressive mix of national and international authors who will all join together for a unique celebration of books, poetry, debate, family events and community projects.
Aye Write! 2010 will feature a number of themes including The Future of the Media, The Future of the Left, Globalisation and a major debate about the place of Scottish Literature in the school curriculum. Among the authors appearing are bestseller Joanna Trollope, Glasgow born playwright and Poet Laureate, Carol Ann Duffy, musician and writer Edwin Collins and BBC World Affairs Editor John Simpson.
So don’t forget to get your copy of the brochure in The Herald newspaper on Saturday 16th January and the Sunday Herald on 17th January.
