CALLING ALL POETS
Looking for a platform to showcase your poetry?
Renfrewshire Arts, Museum & Libraries, in collaboration with writer’s collective Read Raw Ltd, have created two Poetry Walls in celebration of the Bi-centenary of Paisley’s Poet Robert Tannahill.
If you have written a poem and would like to share it with others, please hand it in to your local library with your contact details. All submissions should be no more than 40 lines and can be on any subject of your choice.
Selected poems will be added to Poetry Walls at Paisley’s two main shopping centres for all to see. Your poetry may even be selected for inclusion in an anthology to be published this summer.
For inspiration, visit the Poetry Walls at the Paisley Shopping Centre and the Piazza Shopping Centre during May and June.
The Poetry Wall is one of the many events celebrating Tannahill. Pick up a programme for more information.
